Easter. It's that calorific time of year when stores are brimming with hot cross buns, chocolate eggs and chocolate bunnies. Inspired by the many sites dedicated to that King of Easter candies—the Marshmallow Peep—we decided to pay homage to another Easter classic—the Lindt Gold Bunny. Available in a wide variety of sizes, the Lindt Gold Bunny is undoubtedly the classiest of Easter confectionary. With its distinctive gold wrapper and red bow, the Lindt Gold Bunny is made of chocolate you can actually eat (as opposed to the stuff you end up feeding the dog or worse—those unwanted visitors). But is that their only application? We felt there had to be more to this little bunny than meets the eye, so we decided to subject them to a variety of tests. A quick visit to the local store revealed a cache of bunnies waiting to be liberated. Grateful for their release, the rabbits readily agreed to be our test subjects.
