Shindigin'

Okaaay! I know it's been a while since I posted, but due to the end of term coming up I've been spending my time on homework.

Anyways, here's a bit of a layout for the formal/soiree/bbq this Friday, that is, if you're going to Kate's and mine.

5:30ish (I forget) - Kate's Pre-Shindig Shindig : Champagne, parents and cameras.
7:30 - The THING : (I give up calling it whatever it is) Talking, checking out dates and dresses, eating, fat getting, dancing, sick feeling. =)
12:00 - Leave The THING. : Go find gelati (Kate still has to finalise this)
1:30ish - Cabing to my hoose : Cab in a maxi taxi as a group to avoid raping.
2:00ish - Holly's Post-Shindig Shindig : No alchohol will be supplied, not sure if parents would be keen on you bringing. There is a pool. Also a spa, but depending on wether my parents can chip off some of the grout you may not be able to go in. (feet slicing goodness)
People can leave whenever, please dont go home alone. Parents will insist on drivin ya.
If you want to come swimming, give me your bathers during the week, or drop them off on Friday; I'll be home nearly all day.

Just was teaching Jase to play guitar.. the wuss whinging about his pinky in pain!! Be a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. =P But no, was fun. I might have to start playing again myself. Reminded me of how fun it was. Yay for guitar and music.

On another note, went to lunch with the Davey today, was good fun. We ate pasta, chips, tiramisu and mousse. =P Then we were fat and heavy. Always a lovely thing.

I dunno, I'm hungry gimme a break. =P Anyways, on to the news.

Went to Wolfmother on Saturday, was awesome! The lead guy had this awesome white tails jacket and a huge afro, and the band were mindblowing for only three people. Therre were about 5,000 people there which was impressive. We were two rows from the mosh though, which was kinda bad cause they all seemed to be smoking pot. I have NOOO idea how they go it in there, since the building was no smoking, but towards the end I started to suffocate and get dizzy... Heehee, had to go sit next to the exit during Minds Eye!! My favourite song.. *sobs* But apart from that it was great. =D

What else... well, goin out to lunch today with Kate and maybe Laura and some others... then back to psych. We have it till 6 next week. They may aswell let us sleep over in the common room. -_- But hey, I guess it could be worse, the Seussical girls have been working their asses off till like 8 at night for the musical this week. I'm sure it'll be fantastic, especially Kate's lovely lil Elephantness. Go Horton! I want your babies. *nods*

In other news, me and Dave owned some people on AoE3, like, completely. Was the best game I've ever played. Then when we played again, we got completely and utterly beaten to a pulp. =P See, life does even out!! But I think I'm getting better. Apparently I'm not agressive enough... is that a good thing? =P lol

And and and as for something to do with Rozie and Dave and Mike and Chris, well current suggestions are:
Bowling
Intencity
Werribee open range zoo (mum would take us there and have spa treatments)

It won't be this weekend, more likely either the next or the one after that. *nods* But yes, we should figure SOMETHING out. Would be good. =D
Off I go to eat and then learn.... why am I always hungry after learning? O.o

Oh, dont ask me why Britany Spears is in my head. There are some mysteries in this world that shall never be answered.

School is back, in full force it appears. I hate having nights after school when I'm still at school, but meh, what'cha gonna do. =P This Friday I get to leave at 1 and make my own way home since my lift is working at the school canteen, so I might grab myself a hot lunch and mosey on down. Yup, mosey.

As I get back into the swing of... school, lol, I think I've decided to try to take maths more seriously. *glares at KATE stealing her THINGS* If it wasn't for that tiny little pixie next to me giggling and making me go loopy by MOCKING ME, I'd be getting straight A's!
... maybe not. =P

This weekend we have le Wolfmother! Yays! Everyone should make sure they have a certified way of getting home and are going to be safe. The nearest station to it is Spencer Street and it starts at 7pm. *nods* I would also like to be payed on that day, and when you pay me you will get your ticket(unless you already have, in which case you can just have it).

On a siiide note, for those who are creative, I need inspiration with my 3D modelling and Photoshopping techniques. So, if you make up a character (pref female, I suck at guys) with a bit of back story, I'd appriciate it very muchly. That way I can avctually give myself mini projects to do, and if you specify exactly what you want, all the better. Holly needs practise. =P
(if you don't understand any of that, or want a silly character (eg Betty the killer cow lady) then ignore it part =P )

Thankyou allll. And btw, Davey and Mikey and Chris and Rozie and Holly need to do something at some point. Ideas must be flung around, starting now. =) Kthnx.

They were actually really good, even Forever Young was good! Much better than the radio version.


The almighty count down to COLDPLAY. Although they were on stage at the time. Opened with Square One I believe.

Such awesome lights, we all agree poor Youth Group were jipped... but then again, it suits Coldplay to have cool pretty glowing things. Like light bulbs!


They used the video screen a lot, did funky effects and such... was good, we got to see Chris's face pretty well. And his dancing.. Gotta love it.

And the grand ending! All of them up the front bowing, bad quality because we were jumping and cheering... *sighs* They didn't do Twisted Logic though, WHICH WAS THE NAME OF THE TOUR. Now THAT'S twisted logic. *giggles*
